Rules​

•  Time Limits:

  • Pool Play- 45 minutes (then finish out inning).

  • Bracket Play- 55 minutes (then finish out inning)

  • Championship Game(s) will not have a time limit.

• Run Rule: 20 after 3 innings, 15 after 4 innings, and 10 after 5 innings.

• Bats/Equipment:

  • Only approved USSSA Stamped Bats

  • Both 220 or 240 allowed

  • No ASA/NSA unless dual stamped.

  • Suncoast bats allowed.

  • Absolutely no Senior/Banned/Altered/Shaved bats allowed! 

  • No Metal Cleats Allowed

  • Balls will be provided 

• Home Run Rules:​

  • ​3 HRs per team per game, plus Designated Homerun Hitter (DHH)

  • Walking DHH opens up one HR until either DHH is up again​

  • One DHH provided, second DDH can be purchased for $50 (Please see MPFO Staff at tables for purchase)

  • Either DDH can be changed between games, not during games​

• Unlimited Runner: Anyone can run for anyone at any time, no matter what.

• Pitching:

  • Pump fakes are allowed

  • 5 foot minimum, 10 foot maximum

  • Pitcher must wear a mask

• Participation: All players on roster must bat and rotate into the field unless player requests otherwise to coach.​​​​​​​ Everyone paid to play so everyone should play regardless of talent level and wanting to win.

• Co-Ed Rules:

  • 2 Females need to be in the field at all times, does not matter where in the field.

  • If a team walks a male who is followed by a female, the male gets 2nd base and the female has the choice to hit or take 1st base.

  • Males and Females do not need to alternate in the lineup

  • Males cannot throw out females from the outfield (grass) at 1st base with the exception of the 3rd inning when all players can be in the field.

• Super Draft Add-Ons (included): ​​

  • Designated Home Run Hitter (DHH)  2nd DHH can be purchase for the tournament for $50​

  • One Mulligan per game, can only be used while on offense 

  • 2nd Inning- Start with Bases Loaded

    • Doesn't matter who goes to what base there is unlimited runners

  • 3rd Inning- All Players can be in field

  • 4th Inning- Defense needs to get 4 Outs

• Bracket Seeding Tie Breaker​

  • 1) Head to Head​

  • 2) Runs Scored

  • 3) Runs Allowed

  • 4) Double Coin Flip between coaches
